Where can I buy Crowood Books?

You can order titles through any bookshop in the world that sells English Language books, as well as from on-line booksellers, and of course through this website.

How can I check if a book is available?

You can use the search facility to find a book using title, author or ISBN. If you have any problem with availability of one of our titles, or you are looking for an out of print title, please contact our sales office, enquiries@crowood.com, for further information.

How can I get in touch with one of your authors?

To protect the author's privacy, we do not give out telephone numbers or address details. If you want to contact an author, write to them c/o The Crowood Press, The Stable Block, Crowood Lane, Ramsbury, Marlborough, Wiltshire SN8 2HR, UK, and we will forward your letter. Note that some authors have provided an email address in their author's details.

How can I get published?

The best source of information and advice for new authors is The Writers' and Artists' Yearbook (A&C Black), which is available from bookshops and public libraries. This gives details of all major UK publishers, their areas of interest, and how to approach them as a prospective author.

How should I approach Crowood if I have an idea for a book?

If you have an idea for a book that is within one of our subject areas, the best approach is by letter, fax or email initially. Please do not send your complete manuscript or photographs at this stage. If we are interested in the idea we will ask for more information.

How will you use my details if I contact you?

If you write to us or email us, we will only use your details to send you information about our books. We will not sell on, or pass to any third party, any such information. See also our Privacy Statement.

Are my details safe on your site?

The ordering area of the site is fully secure. Your order is securely transmitted to our distributor for fulfilment.

 

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Orders placed within the UK should arrive within five to seven days.
